Get Set to Grow Your doTERRA business!

The doTERRA Success Map is a great resource to help you as you “Get ready, get set, and grow your doTERRA business!” If you are new to doTERRA we want to assist you in becoming educated and experienced with the doTERRA products. We will dedicate blog posts each month to portions of the doTERRA Success Map, other resources, announcements, and principles that will help you in your doTERRA journey.

In order to get off to a great start we recommend following these suggestions from the “Get Set” portion of the Success Map:

Set Your Goals

We recommend writing your goals down.  Make them SMART:  specific, measurable, attainable, realistic/relevant, and timely/time-bound.  We also recommend creating a vision board or a mind movie so that you can see what you want.  Place feeling and emotion behind your desires–use the law of attraction–and watch your dreams come true!

Determine Your Why

Why do you want to share doTERRA?  Write this down and read it everyday.

Create Your 1 Minute Introduction

Create an introduction to yourself that describes your experience and story with doTERRA.  Use this introduction at all of the classes you teach.

Create Your List of at Least 100 Names

Attend or Watch as Many Events as Possible

Attend classes offered by people in your upline.  You can also watch videos and webinars on builddoterra.com.

Conference Calls Work!

When you become a leader, plan to have conference calls or meetings with your front line.

Plan Your First 2 to 3 Events With an “Expert”

Ask an upline leader to team teach your classes with you.

Contact and Invite at Least 25 Guests to Each Event

Events can be large or small.  You can have a class with one or two individuals, you can have a class at your home, or you can rent space and have a larger class.  You may also invite someone else to host a class for you.  They can provide the location and the people.  You provide the materials, information, and incentives.  If you do a booth, plan to have a class within a few days so that you can invite all who come to your booth to attend.  If more than ten people are going to attend your event, you may want to consider having another IPC with you to help out (upline or downline).

Send out invitations or vouchers for free product (redeemable at the class).  Send a reminder email the week of the event.  Make reminder calls the night of the event.  Start your event on time.  Make sure the way you dress matches your message.

Each Guest Leaves with “CPTG”

Make sure that the people you teach understand why doTERRA is the best!  We have the purest and most potent essential oils on the market.

Fortune Is In the Follow-up!

Keep track of who you share with.  Make sure to follow up after giving samples or information.  Follow up after classes with those who attended and those who could not attend.  Be sure to collect the person’s name, phone number, email, and take note of what issues they may want to help with doTERRA products.

Follow-up with the people you enroll.  Assist them with their back office, answer their questions, be there to support them.  If they desire to build the business, share the Success Map with them.  Teach them about duplication.

Be Pro-Active Not Reactive

Be professional, be caring, be genuine, be yourself.

Now it’s YOUR turn to be the expert!
