Brain Fog?

When we are experiencing “brain fog” at our house we place a drop of Melissa oil on our finger and place it on our soft palate (in the mouth). This can be repeated as necessary to get rid of the “fog.” We also follow it with a drop or two of peppermint applied the same way. We love the results: a clear head and mind!

I helped move a pool table today and pulled a muscle in my hip. I have been struggling with the pain all day. I have been busy and focused on so many things that I forgot to oil my wounded muscle! After talking about oils with a friend and preparing the next continuing education class for this site, it occurred to me that I had not yet taken care of my own pain. I stopped what I was doing, oiled my hip with wintergreen, white fir, and Deep Blue Rub and voila, no more pain! It was silly that it took me that long to help myself. Panda Express Orange Chicken

This is an amazing recipe! It is a favorite at our house. You will love it too! You can use essential oils in this recipe and make it gluten free.

We serve this dish with Jasmine brown rice at our house. To feed a family of five, I use four chicken breasts (cut up in small bits) and triple the orange chicken sauce ingredients. (For less sauce, you can double it.) I double the minced garlic, use turbinado sugar, and rice vinegar in place of rice wine. To make this dish gluten free make sure to use gluten free soy sauce. Instead of orange zest in the sauce, I add doTERRA wild orange essential oil. I am generous with this oil. (You can use several drops depending on how much orange flavor you want.) Sometimes I substitute doTERRA ginger essential oil for the minced ginger in the recipe. I use one to two drops of ginger essential oil. (For milder chicken, try one drop.)
